This happy couple arriving outside The Morritt in their vintage Burgundy and White Rolls Royce were married in the beautiful and quaint St.Mary's church in Brignall. (just round the corner and up a bit) |

Monochrome image of our Bride and Groom walking to a bridge that crosses a river just a few hundred yards up the road from the hotel. It's great to capture them just chatting about their day, you can see the love in their body language. It's also great to get a picture of the Groom with the bouquet! |

Love was definitely in the air! Well if you cant have a romantic kiss on your wedding day, when can you? Some Weddings are just so pleasurable to photograph as was the case with Emma and Simons here. |

The wooden stairs at the Morritt - a great place to show off the brides dress.
The stairs are a great oak colour, but here we converted this shot to Black and White to add a timeless feel to the finished print.
Talking of time, did you notice the clock. We believe it's a fantastic addition to the detail in the frame to add a time piece. Either a clock as here, maybe the clock outside the church or even the Grooms wrist watch. We include these as memory joggers, so as time goes by you will still vividly and accurately remember the details of your fantastic Wedding Day. |

Here is the big group shot from the day. The rear gardens at the hotel have lots of different elevations which make it easier to get everyone's face in the picture. The accommodating staff at the Morritt gave us access to a flat roof over the dining area which, then enabled us to get an even better vantage point. You will also note that the gardens here are well looked after, with colourful planting wherever you go. |

So you thought your wedding day was going to be stressful???
No way - it is our soul
purpose to ensure your day goes smoothly. We will do whatever we can to
assist you, before, during and after your wedding.
Anywho...Here a very playful Bridesmaid could not resist the slide...To keep your Bridesmaids entertained the Morritt also has swings and a Wendy House.
And yes, the Bridesmaids made use of all the facilities!! |

You will notice here the subtle use of colour within the overall Black and White image. The cutting of the wedding cake can be taken in so many ways, but a true professional photographer will seek out those different angles. That is the professional difference, nothing to do with the camera, all to do with where your pictures are taken from - Composition.
By the way..Effects such as spot colour, black and white and sepia toning are all included in your wedding photography packages. |

Taken in the rear gardens of the Morritt we positioned the Brides "Pink Rose and White Sweet Pea" Bouquet on a wall next to where a Bridesmaid was sitting. Our professional eye utilised the pink dress and the darker shade of netting as a wonderful backdrop to the shot which for added interest included the Brides purse in the foreground too. By skilfully using the camera we were able to bring the bouquet into sharp focus and leave the Bridesmaid dress slightly out of focus, leaving the viewer to concentrate on the beautiful flowers.
